This is a question that we are often asked. We would love to have more pets at our house. 🙂
The answer: We make drop-in visits at the pet’s home only.
Why Only at the Pet’s Home?
Pet sitting can be a great alternative to boarding for pets who may be stressed in a new environment, surrounded by unfamiliar animals. For pets who experience kennel stress, all of the new variables may lead to adverse effects on their health and well-being while they’re boarded.
We have 3 dogs and 5 chinchillas of our own, and that alone can be a lot to adjust to. 😀
With a pet sitter, our visits can more closely match your own schedule and your pets can remain in the comfort of their own home, with all of their familiar surroundings.
There’s Good News!
If your pet would love to have someone stay the night with them, we offer overnights! This can be a great option for pets who may get lonely at night without the familiar presence of someone there, or even to take a late-night potty break.
Not only do your pets benefit from having someone stay the night with them, but having someone there at night also adds to the security of your home. (As always, we don’t use car decals so as not to alert others of your absence!)

I will be doing another post on boarding vs. pet sitting soon. Stay tuned 😃
