Services Questions
PAWSome Pet Sitting, LLC fully believes that we offer a great alternative to boarding, pet hotels, and kennels. Many veterinarians and pet experts believe that keeping pets in their familiar surroundings helps alleviate and minimize their stress while you are away from home. Our services help to ensure that your pet(s) stay completely happy, safe, and secure in their normal environment and routine.
What services do you offer?
We offer in-home pet care, in which we travel to our client’s homes to care for their pets. We provide services for a variety of situations: travel, long work hours, working from home but not enough time to walk the dog, recovering from an illness, etc. Whatever the reason, we’ll be there! Our clients are mostly cat and dog owners but we’ll also visit rabbits, chinchillas, hamsters, birds, lizards, etc.
Our visits are fully customizable so that you can decide how long you would like us to spend with your pets. In addition to pet care services, we can also bring in the mail, take out the trash, control the lights, and open and close curtains to give the home a lived-in look. We also offer several other services that clients can choose in addition to keep up their normal pet and house care routines.
*Note that PAWSome Pet Sitting does not use car decal advertisements so as not to alert others of your absence!
How can I get started?
Feel free to call or email us with any questions. We have a very simple registration process that will be explained to you.
Phone: 812-219-8286
Email: info@pawsomebtown.com
We also have included first-time client and request a quote forms on our site. We can begin services as soon as the Meet & Greet has taken place.
What times do you visit and how long do you stay?
We can visit our client’s homes up to four times per day.
Morning: Between 7 & 9am.
Mid-day: Between 11am & 3pm.
Evening: Between 4 & 6pm.
Late night: between 7 & 9pm.
No longer than 12 hours goes between visits. For example, if we visit your pet at 7pm the previous night, we will be back to visit them no later than 7 am the following morning.
We offer 15, 30, 45, & 6o-minute visit options. Our visit duration is completely up to you, and we can mix and match times to create the perfect care plan for your pet.
*Note: the 15-minute visit option is not available to clients using the Travel services. We believe that more one-on-one time is needed for pets who are left alone for extended periods of time, in order to keep them happy and minimize their stress while the client is away from home.
What happens at the Meet & Greet?
The Meet & Greet is a visit that allows the client to get to know our service and their sitter prior to the start of their services. During this visit we will introduce ourselves, spend some time getting to know your pet, review and confirm any information about the pet’s and home’s care, obtain house keys if service dates are needed, and go over paperwork necessary to begin the service. This meeting lasts approximately 15-30 minutes. We do NOT provide service until the Meet & Greet has taken place.

What is the PAWSome cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is very flexible! Please contact us as soon as you know there is a change in your plans.
Mid-day Dog Walks (for those who use our services on a weekly continuous basis): at least 24 hours’ notice

How do you handle discipline?
What happens if a pet becomes ill while the client is away from home?
PAWSome Pet Sitting will use professional judgment in the assessment of your pet’s medical needs and we will make all reasonable efforts to reach our clients or their emergency contacts before seeking medical treatment. A Veterinary Release Form may be provided to clients after the Meet & Greet that gives PAWSome Pet Sitting permission to approve medical procedures and advice, just in case. Medical treatment will be sought at the client’s chosen vet; if that is not possible at the time, we will use a veterinarian of our choice. The client is fully responsible for all charges of the veterinary clinic.
